Speaking of deeper reality, Josh draws inspiration from his Christian faith and the works of literary greats like C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, as well as modern masters like Brandon Sanderson and J.K Rowling.

Whether crafting new worlds or exploring timeless truths, Josh invites readers into stories where light overcomes darkness and hope always has the final word.

The Darklands Saga

In Arsatir, light is life-but beyond its reach, Bane claim the shadows.

Rowan is a banehunter—scarred, stubborn, and bound to fire through living stone.  When a larval bane brings death and darkness to the Eventide Mine, he’s called to put his training in the art of elemental weaves to use and root it out. But the deeper he descends, the more he realizes: this is no ordinary hunt.

A hellcat prowls.

A rival hunter hides a dangerous secret

And more than bane lurk in the Darkness.

Step into a world where the light fights back, and those sworn to defend it carry its embers in their blood.
